Learn best rental management practices! Hear from a variety of experts about tenant screening, local housing codes and ordinances, the eviction process, market niches, lead, and more. This two-part class is designed for small or large landlords, both newbies and old-timers. Troy Landlord Training sessions are held twice annually.
Troy Landlord Training Program
The TRIP & RCHR NeighborWorks® HomeOwnership Center offers this training workshop for current landlords, or potential landlords, to learn about best practices in rental management. Such topics as screening tenants, code issues, eviction process, New York State laws and regulations, safety and more will be reviewed. In this 2 part certification course you will hear directly from speakers like Troy Community Police, Rental Managers, United Tenants of Albany, Inc., Section 8, and more!
The goal of the Landlord Training Program is to improve the quality of life in our community neighborhoods by assisting landlords to secure suitable tenants and responsibly maintain their buildings. All landlords and/or potential landlords are encouraged to attend.
There is a $20 workshop fee, per attendee.
